Well after trading this canoe for two paddles that I made almost 18 years ago I am finally going to get this thing back on the water again. It came to me with no canvas on it so I have never paddled it. I contacted old town canoes years ago on a hunch that this was one of their canoes. They sent me all this info about the canoe and even the build ticket! It was built for the Boy Scouts of America in Brewer Maine in 1952 69 years old! I started the restoration years ago with stripping the old varnish off and re oiling the hull. But now I need to re-canvas and re-varnish it. Can’t wait to paddle this thing.

Well this is a first for me, repairing a carbon play boat. It got T b***d by a Creek boat and delaminated on the seam. Getting it back together so it can get back on the water. I wish I had one of these.
