Here are some before and after shots of a couple projects in Radium Hotsprings and Windermere this week. (Note: The client requested to keep the willow tree at this height to attract birds and provide shade. They will have to keep the new epicormic growth under control by pruning every few years.)

Being proactive by hiring a Certified Arborist—whether for routine maintenance or inspections when signs of decay appear—gives your trees a better chance at long-term health and helps keep your costs down in the long run. This one was right by the propane tank, so we had Cangas set up a temporary line while we do our work. We always make sure to know what could be hidden underground! At Sylvan Heights Arborist Services, we are committed to providing professional tree care to the community of Golden and it's surrounding areas. As ISA Certified Arborists, we pride ourselves on safe work practices, expert knowledge, and a genuine passion for trees and the landscapes we work in. This is a new, growing business!

Who We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a motivated, safety-conscious individual to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic, a love for the outdoors, and a commitment to learning and professionalism. Whether you’re an experienced arborist or just beginning your career in the tree care industry, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
-Assist with or lead tree pruning, removals, hauling brush/wood and other tree care services
-Operate chainsaws, climbing gear, ropes, and other equipment safely and efficiently
-Maintain a high level of safety on every job site
-Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Qualifications:
-ISA Certification (preferred but not required for entry-level)
-Valid Class 5 driver’s license (preferred but no required for entry-level)
-Experience operating chainsaws and tree climbing (or willingness to learn)
-Comfortable working in various outdoor conditions
-Strong communication and teamwork skills
-First Aid certification is an asset
