Changes to Study Permit applications and the post-graduate work permit (PGWP) program as of January 22, 2024:

1. Study permits and Caps

The cap doesn't affect study permit renewals and current study permit holders.
The cap doesn't apply to (a) master's and doctoral degree applications, and (b) elementary and secondary education.

2. Application process change after the cap

IRCC will allocate a cap per province/territory and who in turn will allocate caps per Designated Learning Institution.

3. PGWP changes
Limited open work permit issuance to spouses of international students in Master's and Doctoral programs only.

Back to Basics!

I remember when we were children and can't even afford a tooth paste. We used charcoal to clean our teeth. Neneng (my sister) even became a Queen of Smiles in 6th grade.

Fifty odd years later, they catched up with our secret. Charcoal as a tooth whitening is all over the aisles these days!

Moringa is also another example. It is grows in our backyard. Those leaves, flowers, and stalks we just dunk it to a pot as a very healthy vegetable soup (laswa).

Now the West picked it up and build it's reputation as a superfoods. Moringa (malungay) became super expensive.

Now when Canadians asked: "you Filipinos don't look your age".

This is why- all natural!

You Asked About Updates on Caregivers Program.

Two (2) current Pilot programs that are in effect from June 18, 2019 to June 17, 2024.

1. Home Care Provider Class (excluding foster parents); and
2. Home Support Worker Class (excluding housekeepers).

These programs allow qualified caregivers and their family members to come to Canada with the goals of becoming permanent resident (PR). May be submitted inside or outside of Canada for permanent and temporary resident status for the entire family.
