In part two, we concentrated on the essential response protocols that need to be established once security systems, including alarms and CCTV, have been installed. In part 3, we will explore the continuous support and services your risk management provider should offer to ensure long-term protection.
At Focus One Group, our extensive experience with UHNW clients and their families has shown us both the strengths and shortcomings of various risk management services. A common pitfall is the lack of open communication with clients. In a short time, they can troubleshoot any potential issues. Focus One Group will also assign a senior manager to provide clients, if requested, with a comprehensive monthly activity report. Threat Risk Assessment (TRA)
During the initial meeting with a client and their family, it is crucial to gain a comprehensive understanding of the situation and any immediate threats. Once this is achieved, the risk management team should conduct a thorough Threat Risk Assessment (TRA) on the family, their residence, and work location. The TRA should include the following key elements:
1. Threat Identification
2. Vulnerability Assessment
3. Family Behavior and Lifestyle Analysis
4. Review of Existing Security Measures
5. Location and Neighborhood Analysis
6. Risk Rating and Analysis
7. Recommendations and Mitigation Strategies
8. Cost-Benefit Analysis
9. Compliance and Legal Considerations
10. Action Plan

Following the TRA, the principal and the risk management team can address identified vulnerabilities and implement tailored measures to mitigate risks, ensuring a secure and safe environment for the family. The Threat Risk Assessment (TRA) should be reviewed biannually or annually to ensure its continued relevance. However, if the threat level to the client increases, an immediate and comprehensive reassessment of the TRA is required to address the heightened risks effectively.
