Ambassador Jenny Hill and Senior Trade Commissioner Xavier Rodriguez were pleased to welcome Subrata Chowdhury, CEO, and Ranjana Banerjee, Board Member, of Prince Edward Island company RPS Biologiques to .

They are attending the Lagarlíf-Aqua Ice Exhibition, where they are showcasing Supratect, a natural aquaculture product designed to support the health of fish and eggs.

RPS Biologiques recently shipped its first order to Iceland and is excited about the opportunities ahead. With Iceland's rapidly growing salmon aquaculture sector, the company looks forward to establishing Supratect as a trusted solution for producers across the industry.🇨🇦🤝🇮🇸

RPS is deeply saddened by the loss of our advisor, and dear friend, Wes MacAleer. He was truly a special person and someone we were incredibly fortunate to know.

For years, Wes shared his guidance, wisdom, and friendship with us. He was one of the first people to believe in RPS and in what we were trying to build. His belief and encouragement meant more than he probably ever knew.

But beyond his advice and support, Wes was simply a great person to have in your corner. His kindness, quick wit, generosity, and genuine care for others left an impression on everyone who knew him.

Wes was more than just an advisor and friend. He was family.

We are grateful for the years of conversations, laughs, advice, and memories.

Our thoughts are with Connie, Gillian, Darren and all of Wes’ friends and family.

Wes will be deeply missed, but his impact, and the belief he gave so freely, will stay with us for years to come. ❤️

RPS Biologiques is pleased to announce that Supratect™️ is officially heading to Iceland!

We have successfully received regulatory approval in Iceland, marking an important milestone in our continued international expansion, and commitment to sustainable aquaculture solutions.

Following approval, we completed our first shipment to Iceland last week through a local marketing partner, paving the way for commercial availability in the region.

Supratect™️ is an all-natural, organic product designed to enhance biosecurity in aquaculture operations. Iceland’s aquaculture sector is internationally recognized for its high environmental and welfare standards, making our product a great solution for producers looking to maintain healthy stocks while reducing reliance on conventional treatments.

We’re excited to have our CEO, Dr. Chowdhury, speak at the Fish Health Panel at the 2026 Canadian Freshwater Aquaculture Conference.

The discussion explored the intersection of biosecurity, biotechnology, and the ROI of health interventions in freshwater aquaculture: an increasingly important space for innovation and sustainability.

RPS CEO, Dr. Chowdhury, was recently invited to be a mentor at a recent Speed Networking Event held by the UPEI Catherine Callbeck Centre for Entrepreneurship.
