If you’re like many purpose-driven entrepreneurs, you probably started your business with big dreams and big ideas.

You wanted more freedom and flexibility, more meaningful work, and a business that reflected who you are and what matters most to you. 🌹

But somewhere along the way, things can start to shift.
Instead of spending your time doing the work you love, you find yourself running the business, managing the details and putting out fires.

Keeping up with everything that needs to be done leaves little time to dream, reflect, or reconnect with that original vision. It feels more like keeping your head above water and a lot less of the fun stuff you imagined.

You might start wondering: “Is this just what entrepreneurship is?”

More work. Less time with my loved ones. More stress. This isn’t what I signed up for 🫠

If this feels familiar, you might be in what many entrepreneurs experience as the messy middle.

The exciting beginning has passed. The reality of running a business has set in. You’ve learned a lot, but you’ve also become more aware of how much you don’t know.

The things that once energized you may now feel heavy. The vision you had still exists… but it feels harder to reach.

And because you’ve already invested so much time, energy, and heart into your business, walking away doesn’t feel like the answer either.

This is completely normal. The messy middle is where you get your “entrepreneur wings.” It’s where you learn what it really takes to build a business that can support the life you envisioned, and it’s one of the most important phases to get support through.

I love supporting entrepreneurs in this messy middle.

Because building a business that feels good doesn’t happen by doing more.

It happens by getting clear on what matters, and making choices that move you toward it. (hint: there is a lot of letting go and saying no, too) 🤪

This is where good coaching can help you move through this rough patch and realize that you are not as far away as you think. One step at a time, through aligned decision-making and consistent action (not a quick fix), you can continue moving toward the vision you originally set out to create.

But first, that vision has to be aligned with what truly matters most to you. Because if your “why” isn’t strong enough (if it isn’t rooted in what you genuinely value), it will be difficult to sustain the journey.

You don’t need to abandon the dream. You may just need to reconnect with it and realign your business around it.

Stay tuned for upcoming offerings to help you stay connected and grounded in your authentic vision ☺️

I love riding my bike. 🚲 It makes me feel free and in control.

It got me thinking about a parallel to business (as always).

You know when you're riding your bike and you have momentum, just cruising, and it gives you a head start going up that next hill? Kind of makes you feel on fire, no? 🔥

And compare that to how discouraging it is to start at the bottom of the hill with no momentum. 😒

Business momentum works the same way.

The "pedalling" (effort) you are putting in now will help you get up that next hill with a lot more ease.

Even just coasting is better than being completely stopped.

Every bit of progress keeps that momentum alive. And when you get a few wins, you get more motivated, which keeps the momentum going even more. 🎉

That's why celebrating your wins matters: it keeps you motivated and keeps the wheels turning. 🙌

If you are like me and tend to take more time off in the summer, ☀️ this is a great reminder to keep the momentum going, even just minimally, so that future you won't be facing an uphill battle.

You can rest. Just don't quit.

This quick post is me doing just that before going off to a fun-filled festival weekend. 🥳 ☀️

What is your version of minimal momentum?

Some of the beautiful reflections coming up in my client coaching calls recently.

The more I work with entrepreneurs, the more I realize that our struggles are universal.

It's not rocket science. The only way forward is through.

If you are looking for extra support to help you navigate the ups and downs of building your own thing, to help you move through the resistances that are conscioiusly and subconsciously holding you back, I would be honoured to support you.

I've been noticing a trend on client calls lately... this tendency to put a lot of pressure on ourselves. And it got me thinking about how we relate to that pressure. Whether we even notice it's there, where it's coming from, and whether it's actually ours.

Because a lot of it is externally driven. Rules and expectations we've internalized along the way, that might not actually be in line with our values at all. And most of the time, we're on autopilot, not even questioning it.

Bake cookies for the last day of school? Attend that event? Have the house spotless before guests arrive? Generate three posts a week to market your business?

In personal development work, we talk a lot about the "shoulds." They're worth pausing on and paying close attention to.

One way that I like to look at things (and that I help clients with), is that I come back to my values and my “why”. Sometimes this can be a 5-minute reset, sometimes it looks like a longer pause to reflect. But it works pretty much every time.

We only have so much time in a day, and in life. ♥️ 🌷

Your values become a filter. They help you decipher whether that "should" actually needs to happen, or whether it's just another item on a never-ending, unrealistic list. Learning to let go of what doesn't belong on that list is a practice. And it’s honestly really hard. But it creates levity, freedom, and ease. Things start to flow differently. And I promise you it’s worth it. 💕

That feeling of freedom that comes from letting go of things that don’t really matter creates so much spaciousness that it leaves room for other things that matter. And that snowball effect can compound. Just like exercising a muscle, this practice can have exponential benefits.

As a certified Life, Executive and Leadership coach, I support clients in identifying their values (what truly matters), and then practicing letting that land somatically, so it feels safe to let things go. What's left is more energy and momentum for moving forward on what truly matters.

If any of this resonates, I would love to hear from you 💗

Something I noticed in my workshop last week (thank you / Merci to everyone who attended !), is that the challenge isn't just in identifying what's important. It's what happens when everything feels like a priority.

The tool I introduced, the ALIGN prioritization filter, acts like a mirror. It brings to the surface what was maybe hiding underneath, just outside of full awareness. But it can't tell you what to do or what your next steps are.

For some, the tool brought the clarity they needed. They realized that some items on their to-do lists weren’t as important as they thought. That can be enough to bring some relief.
But for others, everything still seemed important, even after running it through the filter.

And that is also the tool revealing something important. Letting go of things that truly aren’t serving you is really, really hard.

No wonder so many of us are burning out. When everything is a priority, there is no clarity and no clear direction. We just carry it all.

That deeper layer is where coaching can come in. To get to the root of that resistance to letting go. And once you do, truly let go of what is not serving you, ease, alignment, and momentum start flowing back in.
I love this work. Curious about what works for you and what is holding you back in your attempts at prioritizing and letting go. Send me a DM, I’d love to hear.

I am thrilled to invite you to my brand new free workshop: Your Aligned Next Steps! 🙌

If you are like me, you might have multiple ideas, endless directions, and a to-do list that never seems to end. And every single client I work with tells me the same thing.

What to prioritize? How do we prioritize? Do I even have time to prioritize? Because in all honesty, it can feel impossible sometimes to slow down enough to think about what is actually most important and make sense of it all.

Through trial and error, I have developed a unique framework that helps you consider what is important (in relation to your values), what needs to happen right now, what actually moves the needle forward, and whether you have the capacity for it in this season.

If you are curious, check out the link in the comments for more information and sign up for the workshop. It will be fun, interactive, hands-on, practical, and hopefully inspiring!

I have designed it to be 90-minutes so we can have enough time for interaction (my favorite part), but also feel free to lurk in the background if that is more your style.

Let me know if you have any questions! Look forward to seeing you there. 😃

🌹Please note: This workshop is open to everyone and will be held in English.
