Hey Friends and Fans, I can't recall the last time I checked in... How are you all doing?? I know, life and work = whirlwind, sometimes.

I am now located in beautiful Port Alberni, Vancouver Island, and serving the Uchucklesaht Tribe Nation as their Funding Specialist.

Despite the turmoil we can see and feel in the world today, there are so many great and positive things going on too.

Facebook tells me that it's been ages since I've connected with my crew. I agree. I have reasons. My first reason is that from 2014-2016 I was finishing my degree at the University of the Fraser Valley My major was Geography - Urban Studies and Planning. Minor in Communications. I also picked up a certificate in Indigenous Studies (even tho I've been working with indigenous groups for years)… After graduation in June 2017, I found no local opportunities that were promising. So, the second reason is that I turned my sights North. I received an incredible response. I now work for the City of Yellowknife My FB page and blog have been in stasis during this transition. Don't give up on me. I haven't forgotten about you all...
