Yesterday reminded us how quickly life can change.
Within minutes, a beautiful evening became a rotating supercell, a tornado, and a tree crashing onto our RV.
We’re shaken, but we’re safe.
The RV can be repaired.
The tree will be cut away.
The material things can all be replaced.
People cannot.
It’s easy to spend our days worrying about deadlines, money, politics, social media, or the next thing we think matters. Then nature has a way of reminding us what actually matters.
Life.
The people beside you.
The moments you often take for granted.
Today, we’re simply grateful. Grateful for another sunrise. Grateful that we can hug each other. Grateful that what could have been a tragedy became a powerful reminder that tomorrow is never guaranteed.
Don’t wait for a storm to remind you what’s truly important.
Tell someone you love them.
Forgive someone.
Start the thing you’ve been putting off.
Live with the understanding that every ordinary day is a gift.
We’re okay, and today, that’s more than enough.
