We want to share an honest update with our Murphy Aircraft community.

Right now, our factory is operating at full capacity. Our team is working hard every day to get as many parts out the door as possible. Each week, a high volume of orders is completed and shipped, and new kits continue to move through production.
We know some of you have been waiting for backordered parts or a reply from us. We understand how frustrating that can be, and we truly appreciate your patience.

To be transparent about what to expect right now:
-Our current reply times are approximately 3 days for [email protected], and up to 3 weeks for [email protected]. We know this is longer than it should be, and we are actively working to reduce these delays.
-Backorders are processed in the order the kit was purchased. If you have a backorder and haven’t heard from us in the past two months, please send us an email so we can ensure your order is in production.

Another week passed, and a few more orders were fulfilled.

To all builders and owners around the world,

Thank you for your continued support. Recently, we have received many inquiries regarding tariffs and potential changes to kit pricing. We would like to take this opportunity to clarify the current situation.

The recent news about 50% tariff on Canadian-made aircraft sold to the US applies to certified aircraft.

Our aircraft kits comply with the Canada–United States–Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) under the civil aircraft parts category. Based on the information currently available to us, these products are exempt from the tariffs in question. For our customers in the United States, there should be no tariff applied to your orders.

Since March 2025, Canada has implemented a 25% tariff on certain aluminum and steel products imported from the United States. Murphy has long maintained strong relationships with a number of metal and hardware suppliers in the United States, and we are very satisfied with the quality of their materials and the service they provide. Despite the tariff situation, Murphy has no plans to change suppliers at this time.

We remain hopeful that the current tariff measures are temporary and will be resolved in the near future. At present, Murphy does not intend to increase kit prices, as doing so would be unfair to many of our customers around the world. However, if tariffs increase further or become a long-term condition, we may need to review pricing and make adjustments accordingly.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will keep our builder community informed of any significant updates.

Please note that we will be closed on Monday, February 16th (Public Holiday) and will reopen on February 17th.

If you sent us any inquiries through our website in January and have not heard back from us, it was due to a technical issue we experienced earlier. Please email us or resubmit your inquiry online.
