EnviroBore Directional Drilling Ltd is a company operating throughout Alberta and British Columbia.
We are looking for an Experienced Welder to join our team in our Grande Prairie location.
In this role, your duties will include communicating with our Equipment Manager/Shop Manager and Field Operations to schedule and plan welding projects and duties.
Truck and Equipment will be supplied by EnviroBore. Shop and Field work is required.
To ensure success as a welder in our Grande Prairie location, you should exhibit the following the qualities:
• Excellent Structural Skills are an asset
• Work safely in a challenging environment
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License and acceptable Drivers Abstract
• Experience running a mobile welding unit is an asset
• Heavy Equipment Repair experience is an asset
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble components for custom fabrications
• Repairing and fabrication of various types of light and heavy duty equipment
• Follow directions given in layouts, blueprints and work orders
• Customizing equipment and / or parts as per managers request or projects needs request
• Organize and keep work area and equipment clean and functional
• Ensures workmanship throughout the manufacturing process and on finished goods that meets or exceeds the cost, quality, and schedule expectations.
• Promote, execute, and adhere to the company’s safety program
