We hope you’re all doing well.
We have been very quiet online thus far and truth be told, it’s because we’re not social media people. We prefer to be outside, working with our hands and interacting face to face. However, as our season winds down at Sudds Earthworks with winter approaching, we are taking some time to reflect on the year.
As many of you know, this year we added soil delivery to our list of services. We sourced out an organic soil/compost mix that we personally tested and used to see how well it worked. We were pleased to offer soil delivery service all around our community to help your gardens grow and help you increase your self-sufficiency over your own food production, something that we deeply value.
We redid our entire garden this spring and put down the organic soil/compost. I don’t know about you, but our garden flourished in great abundance and grew into an absolute jungle. We were impressed with the soil quality as we didn’t add any other inputs (other than water and sunlight).
As the days grow shorter and the garden has been put to bed, we welcome the slower pace of life and break from tending the garden. After a short winter break, we’ll get back to planning the spring season for Sudds Earthworks. Stay tuned!
