Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, functionality, and efficiency of our manufacturing and processing equipment. Your expertise in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair will be essential in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing processes, a solid understanding of various equipment types, and a proactive approach to equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions or failures, and implement effective repair solutions in a timely manner.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and calibration to keep equipment in excellent working condition.
- Collaborate with production teams to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including equipment logs, maintenance records, and repair reports.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in manufacturing technology and equipment maintenance techniques to enhance overall efficiency.
- Assist in the installation, relocation, and commissioning of new equipment as required.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in manufacturing maintenance, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing various types of manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, pumps, motors, and control systems.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance techniques and tools to ensure the longevity of equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to equipment maintenance and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide clear updates on maintenance activities.
