We now offer full service mobile processing. We can come to your site and process your concrete, asphalt, wood and all C&D materials.

The services we provide are as follows;

1. Demolition - everything from large grain elevators to small outbuilding on your property.
2. Shredding - Whether it's demolition, land clearing or aggregate recycling, our skilled operators utilize top-notch gear to ensure speed and value.
3. Crushing and pulverizing - Concrete recycling is the use of rubble from demolished concrete structures. Recycling is cheaper and more ecological than trucking rubble to a landfill. Crushed rubble can be used for road gravel, revetments, retaining walls, landscaping gravel or raw material for new concrete.

We provide service throughout western Canada.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, functionality, and efficiency of our manufacturing and processing equipment. Your expertise in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair will be essential in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing processes, a solid understanding of various equipment types, and a proactive approach to equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions or failures, and implement effective repair solutions in a timely manner.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and calibration to keep equipment in excellent working condition.
- Collaborate with production teams to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in manufacturing maintenance, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing various types of manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, pumps, motors, and control systems.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance techniques and tools to ensure the longevity of equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to equipment maintenance and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide clear updates on maintenance activities.

First off we’d like to start and thank the town of coaldale for its continued support. We receive your recycling every week and we see the people of coaldale daily when you haul your yard waste to our site. We are proud to be members of your community and have you work here at our facility. Phase 1 was blue bin/blue cart recycling for towns and businesses. Our next goal is Phase 2 the collection, sorting and redistribution of construction and demolition waste as well as Industrial, Commercial and Institutional. This means materials from your projects and your businesses no longer going to a landfill. Generally speaking that is over 50% of materials that today go to the landfill.

Doing something brand new is never easy. It’s taken a lot of effort, it’s taken a great deal of time, patience and it’s come with huge challenges. Today we are proud to say that we are finally into phase 2! We have batched test product and sent samples to customers. Dialing in and setting up the programming for our processing line. It’s an extremely exciting time as we move forward now to process dry waste streams into actual reusable products for multiple industries in plastic, concrete, fibre, agriculture and many more.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, worked with us and believed in our model for a sustainable future. Having 2point0 in the region creates jobs locally and puts valuable materials back into our local industries. It means a healthier region where up to hundreds of thousands of tonnes of material will be diverted from dumping into our coulees and passed on to our children’s future. We can’t wait to share more soon as we set our sights now on some of the most problematic materials in southern Alberta. 2Point0’s recycling and yard waste facility – which is located at 930 11 Ave – will serve as the Town’s new drop-off site for recyclables, yard waste, and organics.

For a list of free drop items, commercial items, and non-accepted items, please consult the poster below.

2Point0 is open Monday-Friday from 7am-5pm and Saturdays from 9am-1pm, year-round.

Please be advised that anything over 250kg will be considered commercial, and that your vehicle will be weighed upon entering and exiting the site.
