My customer created quilts for her kids, I had 3 quilts-this was the first one I was able to work on. Each quilt was so uniquely different-it was so fun to see each of her kid’s personalities.

Loved this little baby quilt!! Jessalyn did such a wonderful job taking a panel and creating her own pattern from it!! (It sounds like an easy task-trust me, it’s not—I have a couple quilts waiting for me to create-but because I’m taking a panel and creating my own pattern it literally has me just staring at the fabric wondering where to start 😅).

When going over pantographs selections with Terri over her Winter Solstice BOM with blocks from 2025 and 2024 she didn’t want it to scream winter or Christmas, when she suggested this panto I thought it was SO fun because the design pulled from parts of the design in the quilt!! Terri picked having Wool batting which adds such a beautiful texture to any quilt!!

If you think there is a method on how I post quilt photos-there isn’t 🤣. Often times I scroll WAY back on my phone and see which photos are edited and ready to post. I adore this ‘first quilt’!! I don’t know if my customer realized how challenging a simple square quilt would actually be adding sashing like this and keeping the squares ‘lined up’!! I know lots of advanced quilters would LOVE to line up the blocks so well-it’s definitely not easy!!
