A few pics in the garden this week in our sunflower patch. You may ask yourself. Do flower farmers actually wear sundresses while they work? Well this one does! And while the upper half of me looks clean, my feet and hands tell a different story😂 it’s been really busy lately and the gardens are in full bloom which although exhausting is the best feeling.

Meet Fleur. Our little farm dog. It’s her 1st birthday today! I wouldn’t call her overly helpful in the gardens. She’s known to eat bulbs and tubers and has a habit of running straight through freshly planted beds. However, what she lacks in garden sense she makes up for with her quirky little personality. She is constant entertainment digging worms, chasing butterflies and bugs and barking at the pigs next door. She looks very majestic with her flower crown but on a normal day she’s covered in mud and dirt just like the rest of this family. We love you little one💕

Unfortunately I’ve been pretty sick for a few weeks and it’s kept me from spending precious time in the gardens, but I couldn’t resist using a few of the leftovers to make a “cheer up” arrangement for myself.
