Cape Spear. The most Eastern point of Both America. Next spot is Ireland.

You can hike there from St John's. I did it and almost died, but it can be done. Otherwise the hop on hop off can take you there or it's about a 15-20 minutes drive.

When the whales are in I suggest grabbing one of our lawn chairs and blankets, hit up the there and enjoy the spectacular surroundings.

Visit the oldest surviving lighthouse in Newfoundland which has been lovingly restored to its original appearance circa 1839.

It's one of my favourite spots.

I'm not a fan of New Year's Resolutions; I'm all too unkind to myself when I can't follow through.

I do, however, like choosing a word to help guide my intentions for the year ahead.

For 2024, my choice couldn't be simpler and yet, it is equally daunting: LIVE.

I think those who know me best understand what I mean.
