Creating an accent wall might feel intimidating at first, but once you start seeing it come together, it’s SO worth it. This dining room wall was created using our Classic Panel Mould in MDF to add that timeless, elevated look without a major renovation.

Our client wanted to give her dining room a more elegant, elevated feel, so she decided to DIY a wall using our Classic Panel Mould.

And honestly, we know DIYing a whole wall can feel a little intimidating at first. You’re measuring, cutting, staring at a blank wall wondering if you’re going to make a huge mistake!

Both are great to have, but its important to know what works best for your lifestyle! Hollow core doors are more budget friendly, lightweight (perfect for a DIY), and can often mimic the look of a solid door. On the other hand, solid doors are more sound-proof, durable, have a heavier feel, and are more resistant to temperature fluctuations.🚪

because the truth is… MDF was never meant for curves.
you can cut it, force it, pray it holds — and it still ends up cracking, lifting, or leaving those tiny gaps that ruin the whole finish.

flex trim is what you use when you actually want it to look seamless. rounded stairwells, arches, curved corners, even those rounded windows — all the details that are supposed to feel high-end but turn into a headache with MDF trim.

this just bends, wraps, and sits flush like it was made for that exact space. no piecing things together, no overworking it, no settling for an almost-perfect finish.

just one smooth, continuous line that instantly makes everything look more custom.

at some point you realize… it was never the wall making it difficult. it was the material you were using.
