Almost one full year of this incredible program…and honestly, I am getting more out of it than I ever thought possible. It fills my heart to see someone recognized each week for just being kind - they’re always shocked that someone would nominate them, but as I learn their stories, I’m not shocked at all….this village is incredible. We love spreading kindness on our social media. We love giving people reasons to believe in the good - because it really is everywhere. Look at these faces. AI could never create a village this amazing ❤️.

It's WINNER WEDNESDAY!!! Today we have the absolute honour of congratulating PATSY PERRY of Pasadena!

Patsy is most known for her work at the Pasadena Food Bank, which she runs like it's her own kitchen! Patsy volunteers getting senior's meals prepped and ready for delivery. Any community meals that are happening at the church, Patsy's welcoming face is there prepping once again.

When Patsy isn't at the church, she still seems to find a way to help people. She enjoys cooking and baking for the church. This lovely lady is mom to 5 boys, grandma to 8 and great grandma to 6 - what a legacy to have created!

Patsy, your community has noticed all that you do for others and they want to say THANK YOU. You show us what kindness truly means, and it's clear to us that your love language is spoken through food 😊. Our wish for you today is that someone cooks for YOU, and spoils you the way you deserve.

☀️ Dear Summer,

We’re not saying we’re impatient… but we’ve started checking the forecast more often than we check windshields. 😅

We’re still waiting for those long, warm days to finally arrive. The BBQs are ready, the hiking boots are waiting (not for me, but for some of us😂🤷🏻‍♀️), and Chase has already picked out his favourite sunny napping spots. 🐾

Until summer decides to show up, we’ll keep doing what we do best—helping our customers stay safe on the road with quality windshield repairs and replacements, friendly service, and plenty of community spirit. Don’t forget - being a June customer means qualifying for a 10 week farm fresh food box subscription from Robbins Family Farm!!

Welcome to the “furst” edition of “Chase’s Corner!” 😊 🐾

🐾 Chase’s Corner 🐾

Hey friends, Chase here — your favorite fluffy shop dog at Speedy Glass Corner Brook! 🐺☀️

Huskies may love adventure, but warm weather can be tough on us northern pups. Here are a few of my top tips for staying cool and safe this summer:

🥤 Keep the water flowing — Fresh, cool water should always be nearby. Bonus points if you toss in an ice cube or two!

🌳 Find the shade — If the pavement is hot for your hand, it’s too hot for our paws. Early morning and evening walks are best.

❄️ Never shave a husky — Our double coat actually helps regulate our body temperature and protects us from the sun.

🍦 Enjoy frozen treats — Dog-safe frozen snacks are a great way to cool down after a busy day of squirrel patrol.

🚗 Never stay in a parked vehicle — Even with windows cracked, temperatures can rise dangerously fast.

👅 Watch for signs of overheating — Excessive panting, lethargy, drooling, or difficulty walking mean it’s time to cool down and seek help.

As for me, I’ll be spending the warm days supervising the shop from the coolest spot I can find and making sure the humans stay productive. Someone has to keep an eye on them! 🐾
