As the weather starts to cool down, rodents start looking for one thing: somewhere warm, dry and safe to spend the winter.

And unfortunately, your attic, crawlspace, garage or walls can look like the perfect place to move in. 😬

If you’ve had rats or mice this year, September is the time to deal with the problem before late fall or winter hits.

At Kroetschs Pest Control, we offer complete Rodent Remediation & Exclusion Services designed to get your home back to a clean, safe and rodent-resistant condition.

🧹 CLEAN OUT & REMEDIATION
We remove contaminated nesting materials and affected insulation where necessary, clean up rodent waste and help restore the affected area.

🧼 SANITIZATION
Rodent activity can leave behind urine, droppings, nesting debris and unpleasant odours. We thoroughly clean and sanitize affected areas.

🏠 EXCLUSION & RODENT-PROOFING
We inspect your home for potential entry points and seal gaps, holes and access points that rodents can use to get back inside.

🐀 STOP THE CYCLE
Trapping alone doesn't solve the problem if rodents can simply come back in. Our goal is to address where they've been, what they've contaminated, and how they're getting inside.

🍁 DON'T WAIT FOR THE FIRST COLD SNAP.

Getting your home inspected and exclusion work completed before winter rodent pressure increases can save you from dealing with a much bigger problem later.

🐜 Carpenter Ants in Your Walls? 🐜
Don't Ignore the Warning Signs!

Carpenter ants don't just invade your home—they can establish satellite nests inside walls, ceilings, and other hidden areas, allowing colonies to spread throughout the structure. If you're seeing large black ants indoors, especially around windows, kitchens, or bathrooms, there may be much more activity hidden behind the scenes.

Common signs of a carpenter ant infestation include:
✔ Large black ants inside your home
✔ Rustling noises inside walls
✔ Fine sawdust-like material (frass) near baseboards or windows
✔ Increased ant activity during spring and summer

At Kroetsch's Pest Control, we locate the source of the infestation and provide effective treatment to help protect your home.
We use the best commercial grade products targeting the interior walls of your home to ensure a tride and true fix!

The heat is here — and so are the hatch-outs.
If you’re suddenly seeing ants in the kitchen, carpenter ants around windows, fleas jumping on pets, or waking up with mysterious bites… you’re not alone.

Warm weather means active colonies and expanding nests.
Don’t ignore sawdust, rustling in walls, or large black ants inside your home.

🐾 Fleas
One flea quickly becomes hundreds during hot weather. Protect your home, pets, and family before infestations explode.

🛏️ Bedbugs
Travel, visitors, and summer movement make bedbug activity spike this time of year.
Early treatment is key.
