What a start to the New Year...I am proud to say that in the past few months Triple Play has assisted 8 baseball players, 2 volleyball players, 1 field hockey player, 3 soccer players and 1 softball player sign scholarship offers with colleges and universities! What a pleasure it was to run into Charlie Duncan, a fabulous Triple Play golf student athlete who is home for the holidays from Ulster University in Northern Ireland where he plays on the university's golf team. Charlie has made a name for himself on a global stage as a member of the prestigious Royal Portrush Golf Club, home to the Open Championship. Charlie was recently selected to compete in the prestigious Boyd Quaich tournament at St. Andrews, where he played on both the Old and New Courses.
He plays on the R&A Student Tour Series, competing against the world's best university golfers on some of Europe's top courses.

Charlie is focused and determined to become a touring professional golfer. His journey from the Comox Valley to playing on some of the most historic courses in the world is a testament to his hard work and commitment to the game.

Triple Play student Athlete Andrew Land from Melbourne, Australia has made my day by sending me a fabulous Arizona Western CC shirt. Andrew has been working hard to extend his baseball dreams at AZ Western. Andrew was a member of the Newport Rams Baseball Club , Maribyrnong Sports Academy in Melbourne, and competed for Australia on the 2024 Australian U18 Team! All the best in 2026 Andy!!!

FEATURE ATHLETE : Great things happen for great people!!! Triple Play student athlete, Keelie Duncan is a highly accomplished competitive curler from Comox, British Columbia. Now a student athlete at the University of Calgary. Keelie has been curling for 14 years and has an impressive list of achievements, including:
- Representing BC three times on the national stage.
- Representing Alberta two times on the national stage.
- Winning a bronze medal at the 2022 and 2024 Canadian Nationals.

Beyond her athletic pursuits, Keelie is passionate about the future of her sport. She served on the Curl BC Youth Advisory Committee to help grow the game and is committed to empowering young women in curling. With goals of winning a national, world, and Olympic title, she plans to use her future Bachelor of Communications and Media degree to help develop curling programs around the world.
