The Companion Diaries: A Little Adventure with Ann

Today, Ann and I picked up some lunch and found ourselves a bench with a pretty great view.

We took our time, enjoyed our lunch, watched the world go by and then went to check out the new walking bridge. I love days like this. It’s a reminder that getting older doesn’t mean you stop being curious about what’s happening around you.

There are still new places to explore, fresh air to enjoy and little adventures waiting just around the corner. Sometimes, it’s as simple as picking up lunch and going to see what’s new in your own backyard.

Another share from our Companion Diaries – A Lunch Filled with Smiles

I while ago, I had the pleasure of taking Ann out for lunch at Coastal Black, and from the moment we arrived, she wore the most radiant smile. We shared good food, great conversation, and plenty of laughs. It's amazing how something as simple as getting out, enjoying a favourite café, and spending time together can brighten someone's whole day.

Moments like these remind me that companionship isn't just about getting from A to B. It's about connection, kindness, and creating memories that make life a little brighter.
