Our interactions and friendships with Indigenous communities, involve trust and the willingness to learn as cornerstones. We fully appreciate the importance of learning from, and respecting the cultures in which we are so grateful to be able to learn more about each day. We not only provide clean water to communities, we make lifelong friendships and learn more about the sacred connection to the Land and Water. We are committed to collaborating with Indigenous Peoples and their communities to build long-term and mutually beneficial relationships based on the values of honesty, and respect. We stand beside you and we will amplify your story; making certain to never make it ours. As we cultivate our knowledge in history, tradition and community, we recognize the proud diversity of Indigenous peoples, and we are in awe!

Letter from our Founder:

We are continuously learning more about the challenges and barriers faced by Indigenous Peoples. I am humbled each time I visit and each time I do, I come away richer in my heart and wiser in my ways. I am so lucky to be able to do what I do, and with an absolutely amazing team alongside me 'we' create magic machines that sustain life; and that, we take very seriously.

This World Water Day, we’re reminded that access to clean, safe drinking water is not a privilege, it’s a fundamental right.

At Clearflo Solutions Inc., we are proud to design, manufacture, and deploy water systems that support Indigenous communities and remove drinking water advisories. With that said, meaningful change doesn’t happen in a single day of recognition, it happens through consistent action, thoughtful stewardship, and a shared commitment to doing better every day. We are lucky to be doing what we do and have the ability to continue, this does not mean that everyone else can't play a role.

Whether it’s conserving water, supporting sustainable practices, or advancing solutions for communities in need, each of us has a role to play. Knowledge is the first step, and with this comes awareness, imagination and resource. Imagine for just a moment, not having running water in your taps, and no stores within hundreds of miles to purchase bottles of water. This is the reality for millions, and for decades.

Let today be more than a moment, let it be a catalyst for ongoing impact.

We are so proud of our team, and to play a role in expanding access to safe, clean drinking water for the Bonaparte First Nation.

Water is more than infrastructure, it’s health, dignity, and a foundation for strong communities. We’re truly honoured to contribute to work that creates lasting impact and supports a more sustainable future.

We’re grateful to be featured in this video and to stand alongside the many partners who helped make this possible.

Coffee and a catch up today with two truly special people.

Today I had Ananthan Suppiah (Manager, ISC) and Peter Elson (Senior Engineer, ISC) to the shop today. Two remarkable men who dedicated their careers at Indigenous Services Canada to advancing safe, clean drinking water for Indigenous communities and First Nations in particular. In the years I was lucky enough to work along side, they helped me to learn and I earned their trust; for that I will always be grateful.

Though now retired, the impact of their work is lasting and profound. As a designer / developer of treatment systems, working alongside ISC, I’ve come to know Ananthan and Peter not just as leaders, but as two of the most gracious, thoughtful, and intentional human beings I’ve ever met. Their integrity, humility and care for the communities they served set a standard I truly admire.

Our friendship is something I’ll never take lightly. Grateful for the visit, the conversation, and the shared history.

I am constantly reminded that I have managed to create the dream I once had. One where the 'company' Clearflo Solutions Inc.became more of a 'movement', and contributing as best it can to those in need of safe, clean water.

At the same time, my values remained at the forefront, and were aligned and evolving. I didn’t realize it would be the mechanism it turned out to be; aiding in continuing to learning about myself, and the world along the way. When I began to surround myself with the ‘right ones’, everything started to unfold exactly as it should. That last ingredient was paramount; the perfect minds to punch our way forward with fists made of hearts.

Currently these amazing human beings who came to the table each carry a peculiarly unique and wonderful set of gifts and personalities. Together, they embody everything ‘the right ones’ were meant to be, and they truly tick every box.

Just look at the spectacular Indigenous friends for life we have found, and the great things we have done together. So proud of it all.

Just take a moment to appreciate our absolutely magnificent friends, and colleagues in Government that are truly committed to clean water for the Nations: ISC, FNHA, and the contractors that align with us!

Brodie: my wife, best friend, and the glue that holds it all together. From finances to planning to keeping us on track, she somehow handles it all flawlessly. (Truly amazing.)

Chris: a next level mind for computer logic and programming. So sharp he’s literally shown a manufacturer how to run their own control valving equipment in a way they were sure was not possible (Yes, that really happened.)

Sean: fierce, committed, and incredibly versatile. Our newest team member who’s already proven just how much he brings to the table in a very short time. Just yesterday, he looked at an engineered lift device and instantly came up with a way to make it operate better, safer and specific to our needs (He's frequently cooler than all of us.)

This gentleman here Devin Sexton is raising expectations beyond what we have witnessed and seems to be an often present, trades mindset. This Red Seal Journeyman Plumber brings an uncompromising attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship and naturally. Where others so often settle for 'good enough', he embodies Clearflo's work culture of honesty, integrity, accountability, innovation, and continued elevated standards.

Super proud of Sean Douglas! He's an incredibly talented, and committed human. He's a fantastic Father, partner and latest member of our team. He takes what he's been shown, and immediately runs with it! Here he is welding in the door frame for the latest water treatment plant.

Thanks Chris Blackburn for passing on your knowledge about welding.

Huge gratitude to Mr. Fred Gaskell of Port Hardy! He generously provided this stunning dimensional cedar for our latest water treatment plant construction. Thanks to a great connection through our teammate Sean Dick.

This lumber will be installed around the doorways to not only create a more beautiful exterior but to also make a very real connection to the lands where this system will be placed on.

The shop smells incredible today with that rich cedar aroma filling the air as we craft something beautiful and lasting for the community!

Chris and Sean (and grandson West!) installing our trademark Clearflo interior basics into the Dzawada'enuxw System.

I’m incredibly proud of our team and this work culture I envisioned years ago and we've since nurtured together. A culture defined by dedication, precision, and innovation. Every member of our crew has fully embraced the intent; to design and construct the most advanced, trendsetting, and highest quality water treatment systems for Indigenous communities.

The level of care and attention to detail that goes into each installation is truly remarkable. Each pipe, panel, and component is positioned and leveled with painstaking accuracy, exceeding industry standards at every turn. This isn’t just work for us; it’s a shared commitment to excellence and to ensuring safe, clean water with the utmost integrity and pride.

My Dad would absolutely adore where I've gotten to in this movement that I've developed and the 'right ones' helped to make a reality . I get to bring his essence that shaped me, to this. He'd be equally proud of these wondrous people that walk with me to make this dream real.
