The 2026 GOS is kicking off tomorrow here in the East Kootenays.
Have a great fall hunt.
The antler growth and age class will be extra good this year due to the amazing winter that we had last year and several good winters prior to this year.
This is one buck that I got in last fall, taken by the local hunter and writer FJ Hurtak.
What a buck!
Congratulations FJ on the buck of a lifetime for our pert of BC.

This curious Ram got way too close to a Porcupine.
The first wave of hard legged hunters are home or on their way home and now it’s the second wave coming up.
May your dreams come true and may you all return safely to your family and friends.
The Lords blessings in His magnificent creation.

Merry Christmas to all, from our family to yours.
The Lord’s blessings today and in the future.
The reason for this season is the birth of Jesus, the Saviour of the world.
Bless your time together with your family and friends and safe travels.

A local husband and wife had the 2022 season of a lifetime and with archery tackle and both are Kootenay bucks. What a magnificent pair of animals. Congratulations to both of them and thank you.
It’s the 11th hour and we have snow on the valley bottom. Go Getem! The freezer is calling and perhaps the wall!
Hunt hard and never give up. Blessings. Philip and family

Some bucks are just built differently and this one is a magnum specimen and an archery buck nonetheless.
Congratulations Travis on “another” buck of a lifetime.
The unseasonably mild weather is not conducive to great deer hunting, but the rut is on! So keep on fellow Whitetail soldiers. Perhaps today is the day?

Well I’m so happy to share that the large and mature Mule Deer bucks are starting to show up on my skinning bench.
All the best in the remainder of the season.
Tick tock tick tock.
Thank you very much to all of our supporters and customers. Sincerely. Philip and family.
God bless.

Happy Muley day!!

Exotics! Something a little different.
This beast was taken by a young woman from Cranbrook who trekked to the great Islands of New Zealand and returned home with this prehistoric sized Stag! It was a real treat to recreate this creature for her.
Thank you Lisa.
