Well, we did not know that biscotti are also considered wine dunking cookies!

Fun Facts about Biscotti:

Biscotti are twice baked Italian “cookies” they have a very long shelf life and were originally made for the Roman soldiers/sailors.
In Italy all “cookies” are referred to as Biscotti while here in our country they are distinguished by the twice baked hard Italian biscuit also called Cantucci.
Another difference is in Italy they dunk and eat their biscotti in wine, in our country it is most commonly paired with coffee.
My Biscotti Babe biscotti / cantucci I use many different flavours , dried fruit, nuts and flavoring. They are slightly softer and don’t break your teeth however still totally dunkable.
If you haven’t tried them I really hope you will, they are delightful and it’s hard to stop at one 😃
