Work setting: Warehouse
Work Conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling
Weight Handling: Up to 100 IBS
Safety equipment required: Steel toes boots, Safety glasses, Gloves
Work site environment: cold in winter, hot in summer noisy, dusty
Personal Skills Required: Time management, friendly, positive attitude, proactive, quick learner, hardworking, efficiency, team player, reliability.
Vehicles and Equipment: Dollies, hand-jacks, balers, strapping machine, fork-lifts
Specific Duties:
• Serving customer with a friendly and
positive attitude
• Counting and sorting recyclables
• Cutting and sorting metals
• Tying, weighing and stacking full
Cap Sack Bags
• Sweeping
• Washrooms tidying
• Operating Forklift (if applicable)
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Operating balers
• Miscellaneous duties
