I make a bad habit of forgetting to post, despite how many pictures I take of the work I do. Pretty routine to work on controllers, I think this picture is already a couple months old 😅
I charge a flat 20$ for joystick exchanges (assuming both get replaced)

Welcome to console tent! A gaming repairs, cleaning, and upgrade service based in Dartmouth.
I’m a capable novice who’s been slowly turning a hobby into a business. I mainly work on Nintendo devices, but I’m passionate to tinker with anything I think I can fix!

Services include:
•Stick replacements (for drift)
•Part sourcing (ribbon cables, SD card/Game readers, speakers, joycon rails, ETC)
•Button/Shell replacements and swaps
•Shell and Button cleaning
•Thermal paste replacement
•Free diagnostics

Main experience applies to Switch, Switch Lites, Pro Controllers, joycons, wii remotes, and PowerA controllers, but have some experience with various Xbox Ones and PlayStation4

I’m 20$ an hour + part costs. Work Examples: I can do a full dissassembly and reassembly of a switch lite in 1 hour, and two joycons take me 50 minutes-1 1/2 hours depending on the task. I try to find the best deals for parts, a lot coming through AliExpress and Amazon.

I have some parts on standby already, but based on time and budget some are ordered by request. I usually have stock of basic joycon sticks, pro controller stick attachments, buttons, and spare housings. Sometimes I already have spare rails, ribbon cables, and SD card readers. However, custom shells and buttons should be provided by the client as they can vary in price. I highly recommend ExtremeRate as I’ve worked with them a lot and can be sourced both through Amazon and AliExpress, but there’s tons of options and I can help you choose!

Feel free to message or comment with inquiries or general questions🙂
