What a fun night last night. PBR bull riding. Good job to all that put this show on in Dauphin, MB. We sure had some family fun.

I had to work today but came home to a wonderful farm to table meal made by Dean. Our farm raised chicken, potatoes, morels picked from our yard and fiddleheads. It was wonderful.

Sorry we haven't posted much the last few days. It's been busy. Foraging season is upon us and we enjoy it. Pick and pickled and froze fiddleheads last week. Picked and ate wild fresh asparagus and morel mushrooms.

Dean and I got to spend the morning foraging. It's something we love to do as a family. Fiddleheads and asparagus. Can't wait to take the kids with us on the weekend.

Dean and the kids got me this plant for mothers day 4 years ago. It was in full bloom, left it outside and it rained the first night we had it. All the blooms fell off and then all the leaves. It's been such a touchy 🪴 plant. It does not like to be moved or touched. Thought about throwing it out a few times, but look at it now. First time it's been in full bloom since I got it. I remember why I loved it so much. So beautiful! Bougainvillea
