Hi everyone I am still etching took a break to heal my hands but I have written my first book which is published 👍

❤️ A Little Author Moment ❤️

I wanted to share something that honestly made me smile today.

When I first decided to write Where the Water Listens, I never really knew how people would respond to it. I simply had a story in my heart that I felt needed to be told.

Since its release, I’ve been incredibly touched by the kind words and encouragement I’ve received from readers, friends, and family.

My first Amazon review was 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Really enjoyed something from a local, Canadian writer. Great first book. Waiting for the next book in the series.”

And then my granddaughter, who is still reading it, sent me this:

“It IS AMAZING. I SEE IT — the words don’t even look like words, it’s like watching a movie.”

That one really touched my heart. ❤️

As a new author, hearing that someone can actually see the world I imagined while writing it is something I will never take for granted.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, purchased a copy, read my story, left a review, or simply encouraged me along the way.

After injuring my arm and having to slow down for a while, I’ve decided it’s time to let go of many of my completed etched pieces at special pricing.

For those who have followed my work or have wanted to own one of my hand-etched pieces, this may be the perfect opportunity to find something special at a reduced price.

Each piece is individually hand drawn and hand etched, and many are one-of-a-kind creations that I may never duplicate again.

Creating has always been something close to my heart, and while the last while has been challenging, I’m looking forward to putting these pieces out into the world where they can be enjoyed and appreciated.

This piece started out to be just a Bull Elk meeting a cow by a stream, but I then ended up etching all around the bowl to the total of 350 hours plus. I named this piece “The Story” I am asking $1200 for this one of a kind piece but I will consider offers.

Mother’s Day has a way of making us pause and think about the women who’ve shaped our lives — and the moments we’ve shared along the way.

As life changes and families grow, those moments may look a little different… but the meaning behind them never really fades.

I’ve been spending some time at my glass again, and I do have a few pieces available if you’re looking for something a little more personal this year — something one of a kind, for someone who is just that.

Each piece is hand drawn and etched with care, and no two will ever be the same — much like the women we’re celebrating.

Great news — my hand has healed enough and I’m back at my etching! 😊

I’ve got plenty of glass ready to go and ideas flowing again. I’ve also been working on another project (not etching-related) that I’m very excited about and getting close to finishing… I can’t wait to share it with you soon.
