The Deloraine Fire Department would like to congratulate **Bill Cheyne** on an incredible **50 years of service** with the Deloraine Fire Department!

Bill began his career as a firefighter in 1975 and took on the role of Fire Chief in 1983, succeeding Bill Kilmury. In 2001, Bill stepped down as Fire Chief but continued to serve the department as a firefighter until 2025.

Throughout his 50 years of service, Bill shared his experience, knowledge, and countless stories with the younger members of the department. His mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment helped solve many issues over the years and were an invaluable asset to the department.

We are incredibly grateful for Bill’s **50 years of dedication, commitment, and service to the Deloraine Fire Department and our community**.

Congratulations, Bill, and thank you for everything you have contributed over the past 50 years!

The Deloraine Fire Department would like to congratulate the Deloraine Ag Society on another successful fair weekend!

It was wonderful to see such a great turnout, made even better by the perfect weather. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Deloraine Ag Society for their generous donation to the Fire Department. Your continued support of our community is greatly appreciated!

The Deloraine Fireman’s Club would like to thank everyone that came out for the pulled pork on a bun supper we put on at the Farmers Market Wednesday night.
We would like to thank Kent and Brandt for cooking the pork loins on their smokers and my wife Cheryl and her mother Mary who made the potato salad and coleslaw.

Deloraine Fireman’s Club will be providing supper for the Farmer’s Market Wednesday July 8th starting at 5:00.
We will be serving Smoked Pulled Pork on a bun with homemade coleslaw & potato salad and drink.

After working with the town guys dealing with the problems at the lift stations in town it is important that the public should be reminded to please not flush shop towels, rags, and feminine hygiene products down their toilets as they keep plugging up the pumps in the lift stations.

If anyone still has flood debris from their basement that is still sitting outside and has no means of getting it to the nuisance grounds the Deloraine Fireman’s Club will be available Monday evening for pick up. A donation of your choice for this service would be appreciated.
