We are a food manufacturer on Annacis Island. We are looking for a person to work under GMP, Food Safety, HACCP and Audit rules. Workdays would be Tuesday – Friday, 5:00 am – 3:30 pm. Starting wage - $18.14 /hour – union position.
Previous Food Industry experience is an asset. Special consideration will be given to candidates who hold an Occupational First Aid Ticket – Level 2. You must possess the following skills.
- Able to handle (lift, push, pull or carry) 25 kg bags and boxes daily
- Hold a valid First Aid Ticket
- Able to read and understand labels and instructions
- Possess excellent written and spoken English
- Able to understand and work with Imperial and Metric measurements
- Possess a strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Able to work in an environment with food allergens
