I love reading. However, I have been having a rather challenging time incorporating my reading list in my day-to-day. I literally took my top 3 books with me to the park this morning and allotted 15-minute reading sessions between my laps around the park. It worked! I got my daily reading done AND accomplished my morning exercise goals. I love this little park. It represents a place of peace. On my way home, I also got a mini-dose of K-Love. That's my idea of a great start to the day!

I’m fascinated with/by glass blowing and recently spent the day at the Chuhily Garden and Glass in Seattle, Washington. The artist is 81 years old and still working even though he’s lost sight in one eye. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and it reminded me of my trip to Murano, Italy. I was enveloped by artistic beauty and loved it!
