When you’re pitching a project to your customers, you don’t sell them on specs. The magic is in the promise of the finished system's performance - and that magic requires being able to confidently demystify vexing concepts and technologies that sometimes come with the territory in . It also requires a degree of trust that you're providing what is needed - no more, no less.

You’ve met the client who stares blankly at the specs, points at the “Impedance” line, and wonders what that even means, how it relates to their project, and if they really need that step-up amplifier? Explaining impedance to a customer can be one of those sleep-inducing subjects, even if you do it right. At worst, if you cannot simplify foreign concepts, it can make matters worse. But these kinds of conversations don't have to be the precursor to naptime that still doesn’t address the concern.

The CNET article below is a great primer to help reframe and demystify the spooky, mysterious ohm. The layman terms help you connect with your customers and earn their trust. After all, you know you've done the math and associated legwork for them. You are not selling them pricier gear for the sake if it. It's great to see that same commitment reflected in the brands we partner with, and Samsung is no exception. With TVs that continually push the envelope, keeping resellers, distributors and integrators apprised of all of the innovations and upgrades is paramount.

Samsung's Home C.E. Training roadshow is wrapping up next week in Mississauga, having previously made stops across Canada in Burnaby, Edmonton, and Calgary. Product experts shared the knowledge needed to effectively sell the latest TVs, which we can confirm are incredible and will likely keep Samsung as the global TV leader for the 21st year in a row.

Earlier this week, members of our team, as well as many of our dealers attended the Laval event to educate Quebec dealers, distributors and resellers on the latest specs and technologies built in to every Samsung TV.

You know that feeling you get when you spy a celebrity or pro athlete "in the wild"? We get shades of that feeling when we see some of our exceptional brands in action, doing what they do best.

Recently, Karem, our VP of Business Development visited the Copetown Woods Golf Club and spotted a variety of Origin Acoustics outdoor speakers around the course; around the first tee, the putting green, and the driving range, providing members with great tunes as they enjoy their round of golf. Most of the speakers are quite well hidden as to not draw too much attention to themselves, but make no mistake, they do leave an impact as the music gets golfers excited and in a great frame of mind.

Now you might think that golf courses are traditionally hush-hush places where the players' focus is paramount. Conversely, Copetown Woods has received tons of positive feedback from members about the music in and around the course, and the extra atmosphere and energy the music brings.
