It’s Small Business Week, and we’re celebrating the incredible entrepreneurs who make up our Collab Culture Niagara community!

From health and wellness to technology, AI, finance, design, real estate, photography, mortgages, yoga, property upgrades, renovations and management, aesthetics, psychotherapy, law, organizers and creators, work professionals, HR, insurance, podcast production, writing, and everything in between, our members bring an incredible mix of talent, passion, knowledge, and creativity to our community.

Every business has a story, and behind each one is an entrepreneur who has taken a chance, worked hard, and turned an idea into something meaningful.

Small businesses are the heart of our communities, and we’re proud to be surrounded by entrepreneurs who support one another, share ideas, build connections, and celebrate each other’s successes.

This week, we’re shining a spotlight on ALL our amazing members and the businesses they’ve worked so hard to build. Because at Collab Culture Niagara, we believe that when small businesses support each other, we all grow stronger.

Speed networking at TEATRO is only four days away!

Here’s how it works:
You sit down, you meet someone new, you have a real conversation. Then you move on and do it again.

Come curious. You don’t need a perfect pitch. You just need to be you.

Business owners in Niagara are better when we know each other. That is the whole idea. Community over competition.

Happy Thanksgiving from Collab Culture.

Today, we are feeling especially grateful for this community. For the connections that have turned into friendships, the conversations that have sparked new ideas, and the collaborations that remind us we are better together.

We are thankful for every entrepreneur, business owner and supporter who shows up, shares their experience and helps make Collab Culture what it is.

Here’s to supporting local, celebrating each other’s wins and continuing to build something meaningful together.

Happy Thanksgiving from our Collab Culture community to yours.

Collabers collabing is what Collab Culture is all about.

When the right people come together, connections turn into real opportunities. Bryony Hawthorn of Impact Real Estate Advisors, Kelly Foote of Fusion Mortgages and Sheena Magnotta of Fiero Financial Solutions have taken their Collab Culture connection beyond networking and created a home buying team for Niagara.

Three independent businesses. Three areas of expertise. One collaboration built to better support their clients.

This is community over competition in action, and exactly why Collab Culture exists. Connections, collaboration and seeing what can happen when local business owners work together.

We’re feeling so grateful for everyone who joined us last night for our first mayoral panel conversation. Thank you for showing up, listening and helping make space for such a respectful and informative conversation about the business of St. Catharines.

A heartfelt thank you to Cara Krezek for the care and thoughtfulness she brought to moderating, to the candidates for sharing their time and perspectives, and to Teatro for welcoming us with such hospitality. The insight and respect shown by everyone in the room made the evening something we’re truly proud of.

Collab Culture is all about bringing local business owners together to build real connections, share referrals and support one another’s growth. We’d love to see you at our next event at Teatro on October 21. Follow along here so you’re first to hear what we have planned next!

September 30 is Orange Shirt Day, a day to honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities.

The message “Every Child Matters” reminds us that every child deserves to feel valued, safe, loved, and heard.

At Collab Culture Niagara, we believe community begins with listening, learning, and making space for the stories and experiences of others.

Today and every day, we honour Indigenous children, families, Survivors, and communities as we continue to learn about the history and lasting impacts of the residential school system.

Collabers Collabing

There’s something pretty special about seeing our Collabers support each other, and this one comes with a good book.

Bliss Babe Book Club is currently reading I Just Got Fired by our very own Collaber, Cara Krezek.

A book written by a Collaber, being read and discussed by a community led by another Collaber. This is exactly what Collabers Collabing is all about.

Supporting each other, sharing what we create and building connections that go beyond business.

Want to join them for book club?

Spend a night in the Speakeasy Library at The Old Stone Inn in Niagara Falls on September 22.

Tickets are $45 and include charcuterie and a beverage.

Grab the book, join the conversation and come support Collabers Collabing.
