It is an honour to introduce a true visionary in social entrepreneurship and philanthropy to our Latin America Longevity Summit as a keynote speaker:
Daniel Germain has dedicated his life to improving the lives of underprivileged children. He is the Founder of Breakfast Club of Canada, a national charity supporting school breakfast programs that help children succeed academically and socially. In 2005, the organization was recognized by the United Nations as one of the world’s leading school meal programs. Breakfast Club Canada feeds over 950,000 Children every day across Canada.
Raised in a disadvantaged neighbourhood, Germain’s early experiences and humanitarian work abroad shaped his lifelong commitment to breaking cycles of poverty. Beyond Breakfast Club of Canada, he has launched international youth cooperation initiatives in Quebec and founded the Montreal Millennium Summit, an international forum advancing global solutions for children’s well-being.
Daniel serves on the Advisory Council for the Order of Canada, the key body that reviews nominations and recommends candidates to the Governor General, chaired by the Chief Justice of Canada.
He is a Member of the Order of Canada, a Knight of the Ordre national du Québec, and a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Quebec YMCA Peace Medal, King Charles Coronation Medal among numerous honours recognizing his impact on youth and society.
Daniel is also the founder of the World Children’s Day and the Children’s Hour Campaign, launching in 2026 across Canada, the United States, and Brazil. Children’s Day elevates and celebrates the voices of all children- ensuring their needs, rights, and hopes are heard, valued, and acted upon at the highest levels of society.
A sought-after speaker and advisor, Daniel has shared his vision with colleges and universities across North America, as well as organizations including McDonald’s, Walmart, Staples, Cirque du Soleil, Coca-Cola, and others.
