Keltech is looking for someone to fill the position of Junior Technician or Senior Technician. This is a full time, permanent position with 40+ hours per week.

Applicant should have good communications skills, a basic understanding of computers and be willing to work out of town and overtime when needed.
Must have valid Class 5 driver’s license.
Duties will include:
- Tower climbing/rigging
- Programming 2-way radios in shop and on site
- Setting up, programming, testing & installing various radio, networking & other communications equipment at various locations throughout Alberta.
- Installing 2-way radios and other equipment into vehicles
- Keeping a clean and organized work area
- Building and testing coax cables and network cables
- Using test equipment to verify and troubleshoot communication issues
- Obtaining and maintaining safety tickets (H2S, 1st aid, WHIMIS, Fall Arrest, Tower Rescue, MEWP/AWP)
- Working overtime and being on an on-call rotation
Any applicable safety tickets and experience related to the above duties would be an asset. All necessary training and safety tickets will be provided as needed. Diploma in Telecom, Electronic Tech or similar considered an asset but not required.
Start date: November 2nd or as negotiated.
