Just because life took you away from the saddle right now, doesn’t mean you won’t find your way back

What a powerful quote from a powerful woman: Devin Dole (Conley)

🤎 MAMA MONDAY 🤎

Can we talk about the mental load of being a mom for a minute?

It’s not just packing the diaper bag or making supper.

It’s remembering we’re almost out of wipes.
That someone needs a bigger pair of boots.
When the next appointment is.
What’s for supper tomorrow.
Which kid needs what at daycare.
When the last bottle was.
Whether there’s enough clean laundry to get through another day. 😂

It’s having approximately 47 tabs open in your brain at ALL TIMES… while someone is yelling “MOM!” from another room.

And somehow, we’re expected to remember where everyone else left their stuff too. 😂

So here’s your Mama Monday reminder:

You don’t have to have everything together all the time.

The laundry can wait.
Takeout counts as supper.
The house doesn’t need to be spotless.
And asking for help doesn’t mean you can’t handle motherhood.

Sometimes keeping the tiny humans alive, loved and mostly happy is MORE than enough. 🤎

👇🏼 Mamas, what’s the most random thing currently taking up space in your mental load?
