This month, we’ve built a collection of seasonal recipes designed to bring out the bright acidity, saline minerality, and layered texture of our June featured wine.

Think grilled prawn skewers with lemon and herbs, charred zucchini finished with feta and pomegranate molasses, a fresh strawberry, snap pea & bocconcini salad, and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

These are dishes made for long evenings, shared bottles, and summer tables.

June’s Featured Wine: Okeanós

Some wines follow tradition. Okeanós was made to explore.

Named after the Greek titan of the sea, Okeanós is one of our most experimental wines. Inspired by ancient Mediterranean winemaking practices it is shaped by the maritime character of Vancouver Island.

Crafted from Pinot Noir and Gewürztraminer, it is textural, saline, and quietly wild, with notes of orchard fruit, citrus peel, sea spray, and a savoury mineral finish. It’s a wine deeply connected to place, reflecting the ocean influence that surrounds our vineyard.

Bright, layered, and endlessly food-friendly, Okeanós is our featured wine for June. We’ve even paired it with a collection of seasonal recipes designed to bring out its best.

Our cheese & olive plate is a tasting room favourite. A thoughtful pairing designed to complement a glass of wine without competing for attention.

Featuring Delice de Bourgogne, a luxuriously rich and creamy French triple-cream cheese, alongside buttery Castelvetrano olives and crisp crackers, it’s the kind of snack made for slow afternoons on the patio.

The bright salinity of the olives, the indulgent creaminess of the cheese, and a glass of wine overlooking the vineyard? Summer doesn’t ask for much more.

ONE WEEK until our Spring Open House!!

Join us on Saturday, May 16th from 11am–5pm. Spend the day enjoying $2 wine tastings, fresh made pizza from on the patio, and a full snack menu.

At 11am, our owner Andy Johnston will lead a guided tour of the winery (one tour only). From 12–4pm, guests can also join him for a special reserve tasting curated by Andy for $20.

Enjoy wines by the glass or bottle alongside your pizza, and take advantage of event-only savings of wine cases.

Grown and made entirely on Vancouver Island, Charme de L’Île is something uniquely ours. Italy has Prosecco. France has Champagne. Vancouver Island has Charme de L’Île, a sparkling wine that reflects the place we call home.

Made from a blend of Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay grapes, Charme de L’Île is our sparkling expression of Vancouver Island. It is bright, fresh, and quietly complex, crafted using the Charmat method, this tank-fermented sparkling wine captures the energy of our coastal climate, with delicate bubbles, a mouth-filling texture, and a crisp, refreshing finish.

Imagine this: an early start in the kitchen, oven warming, windows cracked to let the spring air in, and something special coming together for Mom. Lemon tarts waiting on the counter, blueberry pancakes stacked high with just a hint of lemon, and a West Coast quiche rich with smoked salmon, dill, and capers.

Well, this doesn’t have to stay in your imagination. We’ve taken the first step and gathered recipes for the perfect start to a brunch fit for the mom in your life—fluffy blueberry pancakes, an almost-custard breakfast quiche, and lemon tarts for later (who are we kidding… they’re for right after breakfast). Add a simple fruit salad, and you’ve got almost everything you need to make someone feel truly special.

The only thing missing? A glass of Charme de L’Île, soft bubbles catching the morning light, with bright citrus and gentle savoury notes that bring it all together.

Join us at the vineyard on Sunday, May 10th as we raise a glass to all the mothers and mother figures in our lives. We’ll be serving Mimosas made with our Charme de L’Île—bright, refreshing, and perfect for a spring celebration.

Mimosas will be available for $15, or $10 for mothers and mother figures as a small thank you for everything they do.

A French cow’s milk cheese from Burgundy — soft, creamy, with that perfect bloomy rind. It’s one of those things that… if you know, you know.

Still made in Saligny by the fifth-generation dairy, Fromagerie Lincet.
