Once the preferred habitat of blue grouse, the 31 acres of Blue Grouse Vineyards is tucked away on the sunniest slope of Vancouver Island's Cowichan Valley. At Blue Grouse, wine quality is attained through infinite small steps taken with precision and pride. The vines are hand-pruned, the grapes are hand-harvested, and the true and healthy varietal wines capture the essence of the vineyards' climate and soil.

Starting October 1st, we’re settling into our fall and winter hours at Blue Grouse. 🍂🍷

Join us in the tasting room Thursday through Monday, 11 AM–5 PM for tastings, w**e shopping and food service.

Visiting Tuesday or Wednesday? Our bottle shop will still be open 12PM–5 PM for w**e purchases, but tastings and food service will not be available.

Harvest season has begun at Blue Grouse! 🍇

And the word in the vineyard? Sugar, sugar, sugar. Our grapes are sweetening up quickly after a very dry spring and summer, with a smaller-than-average crop heading into harvest.

Ortega and Siegerrebe are officially off the vines and in the w**ery, with Bacchus up next!
