Once the preferred habitat of blue grouse, the 31 acres of Blue Grouse Vineyards is tucked away on the sunniest slope of Vancouver Island's Cowichan Valley. At Blue Grouse, wine quality is attained through infinite small steps taken with precision and pride. The vines are hand-pruned, the grapes are hand-harvested, and the true and healthy varietal wines capture the essence of the vineyards' climate and soil.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the start of the season. It was a beautiful evening of wine, thoughtful pairings, and live music in the tasting room. What made it truly special was the opportunity to connect with our team, who loved sharing their knowledge and stories about Blue Grouse, and what makes it so special.

Just as the rest of the Valley is awakening, our vine buds are starting to pop! Life is stirring and soon our team will be as busy as the waking bees. Celebrate the coming season with the Blue Grouse staff before we all get super-busy. From the vineyard to the cellar to the tasting room, sip, nibble and learn about Blue Grouse from the team that will all be on site to chat and educate you on the wonderful world of wine.

Chef Dan from Unsworth will be cooking up some wonderful nibbles to pair with some of our new releases, and there will be live music

[EVENT] Join us as the winery transforms into a pastel-pink celebration inspired by the beloved John Hughes classic. Think dreamy prom-night energy, thrift-store-chic creativity, sky-high hair and all the sweet, awkward, big-heart moments that made the film unforgettable.

Sip on rose and our new Charme De L'Île Rosé, nibble on pink-themed snacks, strike a pose in Ducky-approved photo spots, and dance the night away to the soundtrack that defined a generation.
