OPP are looking for a missing two year old. OPP are using specialized equipment and canine in the Trowbridge area.

The two year boy is wearing a red shirt and white hat, and black pants. Residents in the immediate area are asked to search their own properties, including sheds, crop fields and back yards. FEDERAL OFFENDER WANTED-Evan HANEYBARRIE, ON) - The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public's assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of a breach of their Statutory Release.

Evan HANEY is described as an Indigenous male, 29 years old, 5' 10" (178 CM), 190 lbs. (86 KGS) with a fair complexion, brown hair and hazel eyes. He's known to wear brown rimmed glasses. He has numerous tattoos:

Right side of Neck-a basketball

The offender is known to frequent Kitchener and Midland areas.

**Parker, 11, has now been missing for three days.** The search to bring him home safely continues around the clock.

Parker is **autistic, neurodivergent and non-verbal**. He may be frightened, hiding and unable to ask for help or explain where he belongs.

💙 Officers are playing Parker’s favourite Disney songs from patrol vehicles, hoping the familiar music will comfort him and encourage him to come out if he is nearby.

• Black noise-cancelling headphones
• No shirt

• Approximately 90 lbs
• Brown eyes
• Brown hair with a shaved head

April 11, 2026 | 11:00 a.m. - Update: Police asking for public’s assistance in locating suspect

As a result of the ongoing investigation into an overnight stabbing, detectives from the Barrie Police Service Criminal Investigations Unit are seeking the assistance of the public in locating 28-year-old Adam Myshak of Barrie who is wanted in relation to this incident.

Myshak is facing charges of possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon, and aggravated assault.

If you see Myshak, or have information on his whereabouts, do not approach, contact police.

April 11, 2026 | 8:00 a.m. - Police identify suspect after early morning incident

Just after midnight on Saturday, April 11, Barrie Police were contacted regarding a report of a male who had been stabbed in the area of Anne Street North and Donald Street.

When police arrived, a 43-year-old Barrie man was located in life-threatening condition. He was transported to a local hospital, and then air-lifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre.

As a result of the ongoing investigation, detectives from the Barrie Police Service Criminal Investigations Unit have identified a 28-year-old Barrie man as a suspect in this occurrence, and charges are pending.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have dash cam or other video footage in the area is asked to contact police.

The investigation included resources from the Canine Unit, front-line uniform response, the Forensic Identification Unit. Roads were closed briefly for the investigation, and reopened around 4:30 a.m.
