Many do not realize their medical providers allow for foot care coverage. My Background:
In 1998, I began seeking job opportunities in the health industry. I knew I wanted to work in healthcare but I didn't know where to start. My first job was working as a sitter in hospitals and home settings. I then took a home care course and began working as a personal care worker. I enjoyed that immensely.

In 2000,I became a mom and knew I wanted more in life so I took the Licensed Practical Nurse program and began that journey in 2004.I worked in Long Term Care for 18 years. I decided I still wanted to challenge myself so I began working on my bachelor of sciences in nursing and did that via online learning for 2 years. As much as I enjoyed the learning aspect, I realized that I actually loved being an LPN and felt no desire to continue pursuing my degree. I then realized during the covid pandemic that there were numerous people that struggled to find foot care and the needs were increasing by the day. I then decided that I would take this course and offer these services in my off-time. I wound up loving this aspect of nursing and built my business, Nursing Soles Foot Care. I have been doing this for 4 years and realized the incredible need for assistance in the home, particularly the elderly population. My dream since realizing the passion I have for nursing, was to one day have a business that allows me to enter the homes of the elderly and help them thrive, preventing them from having to give up all independence. This is a crucial time for the elderly and impaired persons living at home and depending on support from healthcare professionals. There is not enough assistance and that is where I hope to make a difference. I have been working in various areas of the hospital since 2001 and have built up my skill set to assist me in helping those who need support. After much time and speculation, I have given up my position at the hospital to pursue my foot care and home care adventure. I am hoping to keep my services as accessible and straight-forward as possible to assist my clients in a transition of being fully independent to requiring a certain level of assistance. I thrive on building relationships with others and allowing one to embrace the aging process with dignity and pride.

One of the biggest concerns I have heard from clients and their families are how they never have consistency with nurses or their plans of care. This was my main reason for adding Home Care services to my Foot Care Business. Foot Care has been such a humbling and extensive learning experience for me and to add personal and medical care to my list of services has been an extraordinary step for me. I have built upon the already amazing relationships I had constructed and provided a level of comfort and stability for clients and their families.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting in me.

Big news!
I have decided I am going to pursue Foot Care full time but add home care/nursing services to my business. I have a list of my services and rates if anyone is interested in consistency and a familiar face. I see the struggle with home care and am passionate to try and bridge the gap. I have added a bio so anyone can see what has led me to this decision.
If anyone would like to ask questions, please reach out anytime.
Look forward to hearing from you!
