We’re incredibly proud to share that Matt’s Bottle Exchange has been named Enviro-Depot of the Year for Region 4! 🏆♻️

After 21 years in the recycling business, it means a lot to have our depot recognized in this way. A huge thank you to our staff, past and present, for the hard work that goes into keeping this place running every day, and to our customers and community who have supported us over the years.

Thank you to Divert NS for this recognition and for bringing Enviro-Depots from across the province together to celebrate 30 years of recycling in Nova Scotia.

We’re very proud of what we’ve built over the last 21 years and look forward to many more. 💚♻️

🚨 A POS STOLE OUR POS 🚨

On Monday, shortly after we closed, this individual decided to pay Matt’s Bottle Exchange an unauthorized visit.

And apparently he needed a cash register.

Yep. A POS stole our POS. 😂

Unfortunately, the empty cash register wasn’t the only thing taken all while causing damage to items inside. So while we can joke about the ridiculousness of someone walking away with our old cash register, the reason we’re sharing this video is serious.

This happened in broad daylight, less than an hour after we closed.

Although we’ve identified the suspect, what matters most to us now is making our community, especially other local businesses aware.

👀 Please watch the video and take a good look.

If you recognize this individual or have any information that could be helpful, please send our page a private message.

Please do not approach or confront anyone on our behalf.

We may have lost a POS… but hopefully sharing his unexpected starring role will help our neighbours avoid being next. 🎥😬

Please share and help us get the word out.

Corona glass bottles were classified as an import b**r and only qualified for a 5 cent refund.

♻️ Now they are refillable and that makes them a 10 cent refund. Please return these bottles to us in the original b**r box!
