Day 30: We made it!! Today is the last day of our Spring Declutter Challenge, thanks for sticking with me!!
Okay, I know garages are a big project. We’re not doing a deep dive into decluttering your garage today (but if you’re in the mood, go for it!!) Just take quick look around for the easy stuff: trash/recycling, things that belong somewhere else, things you know for sure you don’t want, use, or need anymore.

Day 29: Take a few minutes and toss any trash that has accumulated, take in and put away anything that belongs in your home, and take in those donations that have been living in your car!

Day 28: Do you love reading? Do you have hundreds of books? For us readers, our bookshelves can almost be a badge of honour in our homes. But if your bookshelf is overflowing and overstuffed, maybe it’s time to pass some of those books on to someone else. Think of it as an opportunity to share your love of those book with someone who has yet to experience them! Keep your favourites, and donate the ones you didn’t love, or are ready to pass on.

Day 27: Toss/recycle any empty laundry containers still kicking around, and broken laundry baskets you don’t use. If you have multiple containers open of the same product, put them into one container and toss the empties. Put away any clean laundry still in your laundry room, and if you have lonely socks that haven’t found a match in more than a month….it might be time to call it and let them go!

Day 26: Today, take a look through your extra blankets (not already on a bed) and throw blankets. Decide how many you realistically need to keep, and donate or toss the extras. As always, keep your favourites!

Day 25: Decluttering hobby supplies can be an emotional experience! Often we will collect supplies that we hope to someday be able to use, not necessarily what we currently have a plan for. We like to dream! Our everyday lives do not always give us time and opportunity to enjoy our hobbies and use our supplies as much as we would like. If your stash has grown to the point that it is hard to contain your supplies, and it is hard to find what you are looking for when you need something, it's time to make some tough decisions and make space for what is being used the most. Keep the supplies you reach for the most, your favourites, and the ones you currently have a plan for. Consider donating or tossing, depending on their condition, any supplies you find you're not using as much as you expected, that you no longer love, or are otherwise ready to let go.

Day 24: who doesn’t love going through our kids toys?? All of us? Yep, that’s what I thought! But it must be done, and it really is worth the time and struggle. There is so much research out there that shows that our kids actually do better and are more creative with LESS toys. Involve your kids in this process as much as you can. Have them choose a few toys that they no longer play with, and are ready to let go to someone else. Also have them find any toys they know are broken and it’s time to toss. Good luck!!!

Day 23: I’m pretty sure switching out our kids clothes each season and sifting through to find the ones they’ve outgrown is a part-time job in itself! Today let’s go through and w**d out everything that has been outgrown, or is too worn-out to keep wearing. If you have younger kids to pass the clothes down to, pack up your favourite items and donate the rest.

Day 22: Let's be honest. How often do you reach for your cookbooks?? Most of us have our couple of favourites, and turn to pinterest for the rest. If you have cookbooks that you haven't used in the last year or two, consider donating them.

Day 21: Take stock of what you have in your freezer, and take this opportunity to plan some meals around the foods that need to get eaten up! Toss any food that's been freezer burnt, or anything that has been in there so long you know you're just not going to eat. It can feel wasteful to toss it, but if you can't find a way to use it up, consider it a lesson learned for next time.
