Comparison steals more than joy
—it steals progress.
A little reminder for you… and honestly, for me too.
It’s so easy to look around and think:
“Why are they growing faster than I am?”
“They started after me.”
“Why are they achieving so much already?”
I’ve had those thoughts too. 🙋🏻♀️
But I’ve realized that the more I focus on someone else’s journey, the less energy I have to build my own.
What we often forget is this:
We’re only seeing the highlight reel.
We don’t see the late nights.
The self-doubt.
The failed attempts.
The ads that didn’t work.
The posts that nobody engaged with.
The moments they wanted to quit but chose to keep going anyway.
The truth is, success isn’t a race.
It’s showing up consistently, learning along the way, and taking the next step even when you don’t have everything figured out.
And trust me, I don’t have everything figured out either. I’m still learning, adjusting, making mistakes, and growing.
But this is what I keep reminding myself:
✨ You don’t have to be ahead of everyone else.
✨ You just have to keep moving forward.
The goal isn’t to become better than someone else.
The goal is to become a little stronger, wiser, and more consistent than the person you were yesterday.
So if you’ve been comparing your beginning to someone else’s progress, take a deep breath and refocus.
Stay in your lane.
Keep learning.
Keep showing up.
Keep planting seeds.
Your journey is unfolding exactly as it should.💛
Have you been celebrating your progress, or only noticing how far you still have to go?
