New details about Alberta’s transition from AISH to ADAP were QUIETLY released today, and let’s be clear: this is not just a small administrative update. The newly released AISH and ADAP regulations show a much bigger redesign of disability income support in Alberta. Some pieces may sound positi...

Bill 206, the Accessible Alberta Act, will be debated in the Legislature tomorrow and Albertans have a chance to push for real accessibility legislation. People with disabilities deserve to live, work, and participate in their communities without barriers. A pre written letter is already prepared that you can send directly to your MLA in less than a minute. Take a moment to send it and tell your MLA to vote YES for accessibility legislation.

Then please like and share this post so more Albertans speak up 💚

Today marks a historic moment for accessibility in Alberta.

MLA Marie Renaud has officially introduced Bill 206, a Private Member’s Bill calling on the provincial government to finally put accessibility legislation in place for people with disabilities.

The bill will be debated in the Legislature on Monday.

Please like, comment and share this post with someone who would be impacted by this historic legislation if it is passed.

And don’t stop there. Contact your MLA and tell them you expect them to support Bill 206. Disabled Albertans have waited long enough for real accessibility legislation.

I know where I’ll be on Monday. If you want to join me at the Legislature, send me a message and we can add you to the guest list.

Keep pushing my friends 💚

I’ve been hearing the same question over and over.

What can we actually do about the cuts to disability services?

Complaining online is not a strategy. Anger without direction is not a plan.

If we are going to push back, we need to do it smart, and we need to do it TOGETHER 💚

I will be joining MLA Marie Renaud, Shadow Minister for Community and Social Services, along with Michelle Kristinson from the Alberta Ability Network for a live session focused on practical advocacy tools. Not theory. Not just talk. Real steps you can take and share.

YouTube Live with ASL interpretation

If you care about disability rights in Alberta… whether you’re directly impacted, a family member, or an ally… this session is for you.

We are stronger, louder, and more effective when we move together.

We do not win by accident. We win by organizing.
