Ready to level up your trade career? JK Environmental Services is looking for an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to lead the charge on-site, run solid crews, and get serious work done — the right way.

What You’ll Do (a.k.a. your power moves):
- Lead the removal of asbestos and other hazardous materials from ceilings, walls, beams, boilers — you name it
- Set up clean zones like a pro (poly, scaffolding, duct tape — the works)
- Place and connect mobile decon units + showers
- Direct the team as you build containment walkways with tools, lumber, and layout skills
- Position air filtration systems to keep sites safe and breathable
- Spray, scrape, and handle asbestos safely and efficiently
- Make sure all disposal is done 100% by the book — no cutting corners on your watch

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in asbestos abatement AND leading a crew
- Someone who takes safety seriously but isn’t afraid to have a laugh on-site

At the beginning of January, JK Environmental Services celebrated Jason Williams 5 year work Anniversary!

Jason has been in the Abatement Industry for over 26 years. He started as a labourer, and slowly work up to Operations Manager. His employment within the industry has allowed him to work in many different provinces, on projects of all sizes.

During his time within the industry, he has completed countless hours of training, and taken many courses to increase his overall knowledge.

Jason loves new challenges, and is always looking at innovative ways to complete the work safely and efficiently.

Thank you for all of your hard work throughout the years, Jason!

This was completed to allow for to the unit.

We got this finished one day early, and all the work was completed following the High Risk Removal procedures.

Yesterday, JK Environmental Services completed another very successful two-day Asbestos training course.

We had a mixture of Property Managers, Facility Managers, Maintenance Staff and Project Managers attend.

Learning how certain processes are completed, will benefit everyone who attended. It assists them in coordinating work activities on their sites, and will also help protect workers.

Thank you to everyone who joined, and for being a great class!

We had a great time last week being a at the Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society (CHES) Conference and Tradeshow at the Cambridge Hotel and Conference Centre!

After a couple of years of not being able to have any in-person social events, it was nice to finally get to see everyone's face again!
