We are so excited to start sharing some of the next project we are on. There truly is no project too big or too small for us at Renovation By Design!

This job is turning out to be a bigger one and the transformation is going to be AMAZING! We cannot wait to share it all with you...

In the mean time here is a SNEAK PEEK of the before, during and after demo to show the drastic transformation that has started for this gorgeous A-frame mid century modern 1978 home.

This house has an amazing feel in all the other spaces that held true to the original design. Sadly at some point the kitchen was renovated and did not continue that same amazing feel or layout the rest of the space has.

We are so grateful to be chosen and excited to bring a design layout and vision, that is functional for this family and still stay true to the mid century modern original design. To bring the old and new together for a cohesive beautiful space that feels like home.

We are able to introduce a new main space, now referred to as "The Great Room", that will include vaulted ceilings throughout, open kitchen with an attached apothecary room, large dining area that has a gorgeous backdrop of the original stone fireplace, which is in the centre of the living room and dining room.

Stay tuned for more updates and a look at what this project took from start to finish. You are not going to want to miss out on this one!

Check out these before and after photos of what we have been up to lately!

We are so excited to share this beautiful project that we got to be a part of this summer.

We renovated the basement to have one bedroom, one GORGEOUS bathroom, family room (with added built in shelves to build on to their base unit), flex space for a gym & office as well as some very sturdy storage shelves in the utility room.

Thank you to our amazing clients for choosing us and trusting us to expand your home for your family and give you an amazing basement.

I almost forgot we got to add a bedroom upstairs in the old bonus space for them to extend their family! Check out the last before and after photo to see how seamless we tied in the new bedroom wall to the hallway. It looks like it was always there.

We had such a great time transforming both these spaces to make this home complete for this amazing family. Check back for more detailed photos to come...

Please take a look at the long overdue Before and After of our clients basement bathroom renovation. The previous owners had done an interesting bathroom layout, to access a storage room through the back of the bathroom. This left the bathroom feeling very dysfunctional and not cohesive with the rest of the beautiful home.

Our client wanted a clean, neutral bathroom that was cohesive with the rest of the house, while providing a much better layout and keeping it cost effective for a spare basement bathroom.

Keeping our clients needs in mind we were able to do a cost effective, functional, quality renovation. Where the layout provides a functional, beautiful bathroom as well as allows a path back to the storage area. The home now feels cohesive and the clients have a beautiful and functional basement bathroom while maintaining the storage access.

Ultimately, this bathroom facelift is what helped our client sell the house very quickly! Congratulations to you on your beautiful renovation and the sale of your home. We wish you all the best in your new home.

Thank you so much for trusting us to complete the renovations in your home. We are so grateful you chose us and enjoyed working with you, your family and fur babies.

Check out this before and sneak peak of the progress happening in this basement bathroom.

The previous home owners had done a strange layout to try and make the rear storage room accessible. We have come in and helped re imagine the space to allow access to the back storage and still have a functioning bathroom that looks beautiful and works within the clients budget.

Check back for the final result....

Thank you to our wonderful clients for choosing us to help them finish a shower, in their basement guest bathroom, in time for Christmas.

They wanted a clean looking shower for guests and future use of their family as they grow. Considering our clients wishlist, and the current structure of their home, we were unable to expand the shower space.

To ensure we maximized the space we had to work with we wanted to make sure it was done with tile, not a surround, and that we included the ceiling so it would not get any water damage for overspray.

The current waterlines were moved into the wall to allow for more space, as well as adding an adjustable shower bar with removable shower head to make the shower usable for people of all heights, sizes and functional for all uses including any fur babies that are low to the ground.

We are so grateful to our clients for choosing and trusting us to help them finish their space to be a fully functional 3 piece basement bathroom. We hope you are very happy with your beautiful new shower and that it functions just as you hoped!
