PICA deploys Recon+ screening Tool in Sherwood Park. The 8” plastic water main was under a new parking lot and was leaking. We deployed three Recon+ Acoustic spheres in three hours and were able to find a repair clamp using Recon’s magnetic flux capability, where the leak was located. In the photo, Recon+ is about to be launched through a 2” tap. It followed the water flow and was flushed out through a hydrant.

He has been with us sunce 1984 (straight from tech. school) and is currently on vacation with his wife, Lise, in Europe.
