Final touches in progress.

Just wrapped up our Zoom meeting to put the finishing touches on The Lift Collective: Your Alignment Edge, launching soon and beginning in May.

Your Alignment Edge is a four-week, small-group program designed to help leaders build a critical skill ~ Learning to tell the difference between the friction of growth and the drain of misalignment.

👉 They can feel almost identical.
👉 One is kindling.
👉 The other is a fire in the wrong place.

In this program you’ll build the awareness, language, and decision-making skill to read what discomfort is telling you - so you stop pushing through things that need to change and stop abandoning what needs your presence.

Program Details (May 2026 Cohort):

👉 Tuesdays: May 5, 12, 19 & 26
👉 3:00–4:30 PM PT / 4:00–5:30 PM MT
👉 Live on Zoom
👉 Small cohort (10–15 leaders)
👉 Includes a dedicated 1:1 coaching session

What we’ll explore:

👉 Week 1 – Learning to stay: understanding the instinct to bolt from discomfort
👉 Week 2 – Alignment with self: values, boundaries, and internal signals
👉 Week 3 – Alignment with others: navigating the conversations we avoid
👉 Week 4 – When friction becomes too much: recalibrating before burnout

There’s something special about building something from the ground up that reflects conversations we’ve both been having with leaders for years.

Almost ready to launch. Stay tuned.

Growth feels like friction. Misalignment feels like friction. Knowing which is which is hard.

One asks you to stay when you want to go. The other, we cling to way longer than we should.

That’s why and I created Your Alignment Edge: a four-week, virtual program through The Lift Collective that digs into the difference between the friction of growth and the drain of misalignment.

The (occasionally uncomfortable) fun starts May 5th.

Interested, or know someone who might be? Let’s chat.

I just need 30 seconds and your opinion.

We’re exploring a new virtual leadership program called The Lift Collective and we want to know what matters to you before we build anything.

If you had four weeks to focus on yourself, which of these would you pick to explore?

1. Handling Friction: staying steady when things get tense or stuck

2. How I Show Up: presence and credibility in the moments that count

3. Working With People: trust, communication, collaboration

4. Avoiding Burnout: boundaries, energy, sustainable performance

We want to build what you’d actually care about (even if you aren’t in a place to join us right now).

So let us know what that is by dropping your pick in the comments.

“Coaching is one of the sharpest tools in a leaders toolkit, but it’s also the slippery-est tool.” ~Me

Spend the day with a stellar group of senior leaders talking about the art of powerful questions, active listening, thoughtful reflection… and how to try and stay away from the oh-so-tempting ‘fix it’ zone.

“Leadership isn’t answering the questions others ask. Leadership is asking others to answer their own questions.” ~Simon Sinek

Especially true for your own progress.

If you’re feeling stuck, take a moment and evaluate your own outlook on the future.

Optimism isn’t a disregard for your current reality - it’s a firm belief that the future is bright.

Need help reframing your future to help you progress? Let’s chat.

Top 15 Coaches in Edmonton - for 2 years running! And what a lesson in self-championing these awards have been.

How often to you diminish yourself when telling someone about a success of yours?

I've had to stop myself several times from doing just that when the 2024 award was announced last week. The habit to downplay our accomplishments is REAL!

But it's SO important to recognize when we do it, and do the hard and uncomfortable work to challenge ourselves not to.

What do you need to stop downplaying, so you can start truly celebrating Your Edge?

Sometimes, decisions are limiting, and direction is enabling.

A focus on making the absolute right decision can be paralyzing. A limiting belief. Rigid.

But a focus on choosing what moves you towards the right direction - now that’s an enabling belief. It’s fluid. Flexible.

But we live in a society hyper-focused on making right decisions.

So how do you break the mould?

Change coaching is actually courage coaching.

Want something different? You don’t need my help outlining the process. If you’re really honest, you already know what steps to take.

But you might need my help to find the courage to take the first step. It’s always the hardest.

There’s something afoot…. A change is coming!
