Back in July, a beautiful evening on Canoe beach. I met up with this lovely family to explore and play and capture some beautiful images. When it works, vacation sessions just hold so much meaning.

I have been starting my days off with what I’m grateful for and I’m here to say that the studies don’t lie. Reminding myself of a few things each day that I am thankful for shifts the day ever so slightly, now I’m looking for the little things so I can add them to the list the next morning. One of them from this morning was that I get to photograph this lovely family at the beach and catch up!

I was reminded today that 9 years ago I was invited into a home to photograph a birth. It is, and will always remain a deep honour to do that. I can only take on a few a year because of my own kids and their schedules but I thought I’d put it out there to the expecting mamas.
