LashBash YEG. What can I say that hasn't already been said? ❤️
It’s hard to explain what it feels like to watch something you’ve spent months pouring your heart into finally come to life.
LashBash Edmonton wasn’t built in a day. It was built in the late-night text messages that somehow turned into early mornings. The endless to-do lists that never seemed to get any shorter. The sacrifices, the stress, the moments where we wondered if we’d forgotten something, if people would come, if it would all be worth it.
There were days where LashBash was the first thing I thought about when I woke up and the last thing I thought about before I finally fell asleep.
And somehow… standing in that room made every single moment worth it.
Walking onto that stage to speak on behalf of NALA was one of the most fulfilling moments I’ve ever experienced. Looking out at a room full of artists who all share the same passion reminded me exactly why we do what we do. NALA has always believed that this industry deserves more - more education, more professionalism, more community, more connection. Being able to share that vision in a room full of people who genuinely care was something I’ll carry with me for a very long time. 🥰
Mo and Jessi - you two are extraordinary. Thank you for building something so incredible with me, and thank you for giving me two lifelong friendships that I will never take for granted. ❤️😘
Larni, Isabella, and Adrie - thank you for showing up for me, even when you were scared. This event couldn't have happened without you. 🫶
To everyone who attended, supported us, volunteered, sponsored, became a NALA member, stopped by our booth, or simply shared a kind word - thank you. You reminded me that this industry is filled with people who want to see each other succeed. 🥰
As exhausted as I am, my heart is even fuller.
All thanks to those few hours where an entire room of people chose connection over competition and reminded each other that we’re building something so much bigger than lashes. 🖤
Here's to a day that I will never, ever forget. ✨🥂
