As an immigrant, becoming a Canadian citizen was a monumental step in my life, but being recognized as a "Daughter of the Year" is a profound honor that deepens my commitment to my community. This award symbolizes not just my journey, but the love and support that surround me.
I want to express my limitless gratitude to my family Marco Haro, Sebastian Haro y Stef Haro, especially my parents Francisco Ortega Perez y Consuelo Proaño, who taught me the importance of being a good daughter and standing up for what we believe in. To my amazing clients at Eagle Business Coaching and contributors, thank you for trusting me and allowing me to be a part of your dreams.
A special shout-out to the brave and hard-working women and volunteers of the Edmonton Hispanic Women's Support Society (EHWSS). Your dedication, talent, and love inspire me daily as we work together for a brighter future for the Hispanic community in Edmonton and throughout Alberta.
This award reflects the collective strength and resilience of our community. Together, we strive to create a better world for local business owners, internationally trained professionals, and those who dare to dream.
Thank you to for a Civil Society and to the City of Edmonton - Local Government for this incredible honor. Let's continue to support one another in this journey of service and empowerment!
